Before you ask

The questions people usually ask before ordering.

Lead time

Most orders are completed ten to twelve weeks from deposit. A firm delivery window is confirmed at the quote stage.

Deposit & payment

A 50% deposit secures your place in our build schedule. The balance is due on completion, before delivery. Bank transfer preferred; card payments accepted (2.2% surcharge applies).

Timbers & finishes

We work primarily in solid American Oak, Tasmanian Oak, American Walnut and American Maple. All pieces are hand-finished with natural hardwax oils. American Walnut carries a 10% surcharge.

Sizing & finishes

Each piece is from our collection - the design is set, and we tune the dimensions and timber to suit your room. The structure stays as drawn so the proportions and joinery hold up the way they're meant to.

Revisions & approvals

Sizing and timber selection are confirmed in writing before construction begins. Quotes include scaled drawings; once approved, the build is scheduled.

Delivery & installation

Delivery within 15 km of the Henley Beach workshop is $220, including installation. Interstate delivery is quoted separately via insured furniture carriers.

Showroom & visits

Our Henley Beach workshop is open by appointment. Mention it in your enquiry and we'll send through some times to come in, see the timbers and finishes in person, and talk through your piece.

Warranty

All Timberwolf pieces carry a lifetime structural warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

What to expect from solid timber

Solid hardwood comes with natural variation - colour shifts, gum veins, knots, surface checks, seasonal movement. None of that is a defect; it's what the material is.

Caring for your piece

Solid timber asks very little. Wipe surfaces with a warm, damp cloth, keep harsh chemicals away, and avoid long spells of direct sunlight. Your piece is finished in hardwax oil, so it only needs re-oiling when it's due for a refresh, not on a schedule.

Child safety on tall pieces

Taller pieces such as hall tables and credenzas can tip if they're climbed on or overloaded. Anything over 686mm ships with a tip-over warning label, and we strongly recommend anchoring it to the wall, especially in homes with young children.

Cancellations

Deposits are non-refundable once timber has been selected and milled to order. If you need to pause or withdraw, contact us early - we'll always try to accommodate.
